Gerald W. Blume
General Counsel

Gerald W. Blume is General Counsel, Rockefeller Group Development Corporation. He also serves as Associate General Counsel of The Rockefeller Group, the parent company.

Mr. Blume joined the company in 1990. During his tenure with The Rockefeller Group, Mr. Blume has accepted increasing responsibility and has played a significant role in a number of important transactions. He was heavily involved in many of the lease negotiations during Rockefeller Group Development Corporation’s successful marketing efforts of the early 1990s and in the closing of both the BASF and Wyndham Garden Hotel transactions at the International Trade Center in Mt. Olive, NJ. More recently he has negotiated the company’s legal transactions for Lucent’s Caribbean and Latin American headquarters in Miramar, Florida; Rockefeller Group Corporate Park in Florham Park, New Jersey; and 745 Seventh Avenue in Manhattan.

Prior to joining The Rockefeller Group, Mr. Blume was an Associate at the New York City law firm of Willkie Farr Gallagher. For four years he served as President of Urban Pathways, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting New York City’s homeless, where he remains a member of the Board.

Mr. Blume holds a BA degree from the University of Connecticut and a JD degree from Columbia Law School.
