Kevin R. Hackett President and Chief Executive Officer Rockefeller Group Development Corporation

Kevin R. Hackett is President and Chief Executive Officer of Rockefeller Group Development Corporation. He oversees the company’s nation-wide development activities and the property and asset management of more than 7.7 million square feet of prime Manhattan office and retail space in Rockefeller Center.

Mr. Hackett joined the company in February 2004 as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the company’s daily operations, the development of warehouse/distribution parks and foreign trade zones across the country, and the development of suburban office parks and build-to-suit office towers. He was named President and CEO in February 2007.

Prior to joining RGDC, Mr. Hackett served as a senior partner in the Real Estate Group of the law firm of Shearman & Sterling. His practice ranged across all areas of real estate, including development, domestic and international real estate funds, REITs, securitizations, acquisitions and dispositions, secured lending, telecommunications, restructurings and workouts, and public/private partnerships. His work has been global in scope, and he brings to RGDC a host of professional contacts that include the world’s leading real estate funds, financial institutions, pension advisory firms, and Fortune 500 corporations.

Mr. Hackett is a member of the New York Bar. He holds a B.A. from Boston College and a J.D. from Harvard University.
