Michael Anderson is Director, Real Estate Services. In this capacity, Mr. Anderson is responsible for the business integration process, acting as the liaison between corporate operations and third-party property management. Mr. Anderson is also responsible for managing purchasing activities and the department’s time and attendance records. Prior to his current position, Mr. Anderson was the portfolio manager for the company’s Lehman Brothers properties.
Mr. Anderson has been with The Rockefeller Group since 2003 when he joined Rockefeller Group Development Corporation after being a property manager working directly for Lehman Brothers. While at Lehman Brothers, Mr. Anderson was responsible for the operation of Lehman Brothers’ New York owned and leased properties, encompassing approximately two million square feet of office space.
Before joining Lehman Brothers, Mr. Anderson was a property manager for Hines Corporation, managing more than 1 million square feet of space of office space at 750 Seventh Avenue and 1633 Broadway.
Mr. Anderson has also served in various building operations and facilities management functions for Securities Industry Automation Corporation, Evans International Consulting, Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals, Emcore Corporation, and RCA/General Electric.
Mr. Anderson holds an honors degree in Electronic Engineering from DeVry Technical College.
