Daniel Healy

Daniel Healy is responsible for predevelopment and construction activities such as the development of the project program and basis of design; procurement and coordination of the design team; cost estimating, value engineering and scheduling; approvals and permitting; construction procurement and subcontracting; construction oversight and quality control; and coordination of tenant activities with the base building construction. Mr. Healy’s current responsibilities include all projects in the New Jersey region.

Mr. Healy joined RGDC in 2006. His current project is construction of the 325,000-square-foot, $100 million North American Headquarters for the BASF Corporation at The Green at Florham Park. This project will be the first LEED Platinum office building in New Jersey, including an innovative underfloor airtower distribution system, the first of its kind in the New Jersey market. Mr. Healy’s earlier projects include a 275,000-square-foot building expansion for Crate & Barrel (executed as general contractor) and a $5 million office fit-out for an international logistics firm, both in RGDC’s 150-acre Foreign Trade Zone in Cranbury, NJ.

Before joining RGDC, Mr. Healy was a Senior Project Engineer for Skanska USA. During his eight-year tenure, he was responsible for project budgeting and cost control; design management; subcontractor procurement and contracting; scheduling; and risk management and quality control, including work on four major pharmaceutical facilities totaling 1.2 million square feet and valued at $260 million. Mr. Healy was also responsible for general oversight of all construction activities; onsite management of construction personnel; and client relations.

Mr. Healy is a graduate of Caldwell College, where he earned a BS in Business Administration and Marketing.
